Maternity sessions always bring me back to why I shoot the way I do. It’s never about creating a big, dramatic moment, it’s about documenting what this stage actually feels like.
There’s a lot happening beneath the surface. The mix of anticipation and exhaustion. The tiny routines that keep the days moving. The way partners quietly support each other without even realising it. The shift in a family dynamic that’s already beginning before the baby arrives.
I try to photograph all of that. Not by forcing anything, but by giving people enough space to settle into themselves. That’s when the real connection shows up - the kind you’ll want to look back on because it feels true, not curated. ❤️

The weekend Soph and Georgie got married, the whole region had been through some wild weather - record rain, floods, road closures. Their original ceremony spot was underwater, and their poor photographer - beautiful Liss @seedandsalt_photography couldn’t get through.

But somehow, the sun came out. They said their vows at the surf club, surrounded by their people, and we even made it out to the Green Cathedral for the most beautiful sunset.

I was lucky enough to be able to jump in last minute and capture it all. Not exactly the day they’d planned - but such a good one all the same. ❤️‍🔥✨

Such a special moment for this beautiful little family, and I feel so lucky to have captured it all. Blake, you absolutely nailed it. 💍✨

Wedding season is officially back in full swing, and it’s been a whirlwind over here! This year’s been packed with beautiful weddings and some incredible couples – I’m feeling so grateful for all the amazing people I get to work with.

In between weddings, I’ve also had some sweet maternity and family sessions, and this weekend, I’m off to a special sunrise couples session that I’ve been looking forward to.

Santa beach sessions kick off this Saturday afternoon! Only a couple of spots left for Saturday, so grab yours if you’d like to come along.
